Maybo has played a leading role in the development of national guidance, competencies and qualifications for conflict management and risk reduction skills in the healthcare industry. We work to develop the awareness and safer working practices of security staff, with the aim of creating a positive and safer outcomes for staff and patients.
Healthcare is one of the most challenging environments to deliver security, which means that it is vital that professionals are equipped with the knowledge, tools and skills to ensure the safety of patients, visitors and staff.
Maybo provides security professionals with the capabilities and confidence to de-escalate and manage challenging behaviours that represent a risk to the safety of patients and staff.
Training by Maybo is in line with guidance from the Department of Health and Social Care, National Institute for Health and Care Excellence, Skills for Health, Royal College of Nursing and the Restraint Reduction Network.
We have also played an important role in developing guidance on the prevention and management of clinical assaults and the NHS and Association of Chief Police Officers endorsed guidance on the use of physical interventions by security personnel operating in healthcare settings in England.
Our Healthcare Security Team Programmes provide NHS Trusts and security companies with comprehensive training resources, flexible delivery options, help navigating RRN Standards & Seni’s Law, a pathway to BILD ACT certification and tools to enhance staff and patient safety.
